Türkiye's rebar imports increased by 33.7 per cent in 2023

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Türkiye's rebar imports increased by 33.7% y-o-y to 123,627 tonnes in 2023. In 2022, total imports were 92,905 tonnes.

In December, Türkiye's rebar imports increased by 6.46% compared to the same month of the previous year. Compared to the previous month, it decreased by 28% to 16,312 tonnes.

In this period, the highest imports were recorded in November with 22,633 tonnes, while the lowest import amount was 261 tonnes in September.

In 2022, the highest imports were recorded in December with 15,322 tonnes, while the lowest imports were recorded in July.
