Türkiye's rebar exports increased by 5.9% in January-August period

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute ( TUIK), Türkiye's rebar exports decreased by 17.6% on an annual basis to 305,404 tons from 370,665 tons in August 2024, compared to the same month of the previous year. It decreased by 9.4% compared to the previous month.

Total rebar exports for the January-August period increased by 5.9% compared to the same period of the previous year, increasing from 2,112,253 tons to 2,236,678 tons.

Türkiye's top rebar export destination in August was Romania with 34,395.1 tons, followed by Albania with 31,032.9 tons, Palestine with 28,171.6 tons, Yemen with 27,700 tons and Cyprus with 19,857.5 tons.
