Türkiye's pig iron imports increased by 44.88% in November 2023

According to the data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's pig iron imports showed a 44.88% increase in November compared to the same month last year. However, it decreased by 6.38% compared to the previous month, amounting to 126,004 tons.

The total import figure for the January-November period decreased by 3.23% from 1,320,920 tons to 1,278,279 tons compared to the same period last year.

The highest import volume during the 11-month period was in May with 175,949 tons, while the lowest was in June. In contrast, during the same period in 2022, the highest import occurred in June with 202,757 tons, and the lowest was in October with 59,043 tons.
