Türkiye's pig iron exports increased by 40.2% in January-June period

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute ( TUIK), Türkiye's pig iron exports in June 2024 decreased by 35.2% on an annual basis to 1,007 tons from 1,552 tons in the same month of the previous year.

This figure decreased by 38.2% compared to the previous month of May.

Total pig iron exports for the January-June period increased by 40.2% on a yearly basis, increasing from 5,057 tons to 7,091 tons

Pakistan ranked first in the list of countries to which Türkiye exported pig iron with 810 tons, followed by Morocco with 108 tons and Tunisia with 54 tons.
