According to the data compiled by SteelRadar analysts from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) and the Undersecretariat of Customs' preliminary foreign trade data, the value of Turkey's iron and steel exports in April increased by 7.1% y/y to USD 861.13 million.
During the month in question, iron and steel export value ranked seventh in the list of products with the highest export value.
In the January-April period of this year, it was USD 3.53 billion, up 8% y/y compared to the same period last year.
During the month in question, the export value of iron or steel products ranked eighth in the list of the country's products with the highest export value.
In April, the export value of iron or steel products increased by 11.5% y/y to USD 740.11 million, while in the first four months of the year, it increased by 5.5% y/y to USD 3.16 billion.
