According to data compiled by SteelRadar analysts from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) and the Undersecretariat of Customs' preliminary foreign trade data, Türkiye's iron and steel export value in March 2025 increased by 0.18% y/y to USD 1.05 billion.
In this month, iron and steel export value ranked sixth in the list of products with the highest export value.
During the January-March period of 2025, the value of iron and steel exports increased by 8.14% y/y from USD 2.47 billion to USD 2.67 billion.
During the month in question, the export value of iron or steel products ranked eighth in the list of the country's products with the highest export value.
In March, the export value of iron or steel products decreased by 12.6% y/y to USD 833.23 million, during the January-March period of 2025, it decreased by 9.65% y/y to USD 2.25 billion.
