August welded steel pipe imports, which was 5,076 tonnes in 2022, decreased by 84.02% to 811 tonnes in the same month of this year. It recorded an increase of 43.53 per cent compared to the previous month.
Most imports were made in April
In January-August 2022, the highest import figure was recorded in August with 5,076 tonnes. The highest figure of this year was 1,161 tonnes in April.
Last year, the month with the lowest imports was January with 36 tonnes. This year, the lowest import was recorded in February with 273 tonnes.
48.72% decrease in 8-month period
The import figure, which was 11,282 tonnes in the first 8 months of last year, decreased by 48.72% to 5,785 tonnes in the same period of this year.
