According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's April 2025 ferroalloy imports increased by 18.3% compared to the same month of the previous year, increasing from 38,062 tons to 45,045 tons. Compared to the previous month, March, it increased by 94.3%.
Total ferroalloy imports in the January-April period decreased by 0.7% from 143,374 tons to 142,304 tons.
During the month in question India, Georgia and Ukraine ranked in the top 3 in Türkiye's ferroalloy imports. Ferroalloy imports from India amounted to 12,301 tons, followed by Georgia with 8,569 tons and Ukraine with 4,560 tons.
