According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's May 2025 ferroalloy imports decreased by 7.7% compared to the same month of the previous year, decreasing from 49,983 tons to 46,149 tons. Compared to the previous month, March, it increased by 2.4%.
Total ferroalloy imports in the January-May period decreased by 2.5% from 193,357 tons to 188,453 tons.
During the month in question India, Norway and Russia ranked in the top 3 in Türkiye's ferroalloy imports. Ferroalloy imports from India amounted to 16,024 tons, followed by Norway with 8,369 tons and Russia with 5,780 tons.
