Türkiye has fully utilized the railway materials quota of 1,536 tons and the pipe (wide seam) quota of 14,743 tons from the EU quotas dated January 1 - March 31.
Turkey uses 95.82% of the hollow profiles with an initial quota of 97,140 tons, 39.47% of the wire rod quota of 116,233 tons, 21.06% of the pipe (other welded) quota with an initial quota of 59,983 tons, and 195,323 tons of initial quota of 195,323 tons. 17.07% of commercial bar and light profile quota, 17.39% of 30,889 tons of organic coated sheets quota, 10.44% of 101,187 tons of non-alloy steel wire quota, 7.87% of rebar with an initial quota of 136,173 tons. It has used 7.68% of HRC, which has an initial quota of 1,058,912 tons, and only 7.17% of stainless HR quarto plate, which has an initial quota of 36,719 tons.
The highest quota is in Türkiye
In the country and product category to which the EU allocates quotas, the highest quota is reserved for Türkiye. With an initial quota of 1,058,912 tons, HRC is the product with the highest quota rate in the EU quota table. In the quota filling table last October 1 - December 31, the HRC quota allocated for Turkey was 469,183 tons.
Among other countries, China has fully utilized its 4B metallic coated sheets quota of 126,603 tonnes, pipe (other welded) quota of 7,971 tonnes and sheet piling quota of 6,910 tonnes, while India has fully utilized stainless bar and light profile with an initial quota of 31,333 tonnes.
