Emphasizing that steel is the fundamental raw material of modern industry, Yazıcı added: “From household appliances and automotive production to shipbuilding and energy investments, numerous sectors depend on steel. Therefore, whoever controls steel controls power.”
He also noted that Erdemir currently produces more than 600 steel grades and will continue developing high value-added products through its strong research and development capabilities.

Yazıcı stated that Erdemir remains one of the cornerstones of economic and social life in Karadeniz Ereğli, where the company operates. Through direct and indirect employment, Erdemir contributes significantly to the development of local industries and service sectors.
He emphasized that the company will continue supporting regional development by strengthening cooperation with local stakeholders.
