Turkish buyers show great interest in CIS bilet offers

The CIS billet prices for July, with delivery terms CFR Türkiye, have been released by key suppliers. ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih has set its price at $530 per ton, while Metinvest offers billets at $525 per ton. EVRAZ and Metalloinvest have priced their billets at $515 and $520 per ton respectively, with Novostal-M matching Metinvest at $525 per ton.

This week, the market has seen stable billet prices. Exporters from the Black Sea basin have been notably more active, with Turkish buyers showing significant interest in the CIS billet offers. The current offer prices range from $515 to $530 per ton CFR Türkiye.

However, Turkish buyers are looking to negotiate these prices down by $5 to $10 per ton. This interest and the push for lower prices indicate a dynamic market where buyers are aiming to optimize their costs, while suppliers are maintaining stable price levels. The balance between the offered rates and buyer requests suggests ongoing negotiations and a stable demand-supply scenario.
