Turkey's wire rod exports fell in the January-October period

According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey's wire rod exports in the first ten months of this year amounted to approximately 1.1 million tons, down 10% compared to the same period of the previous year. Export value totaled roughly US$855.2 million, down 1.4% year on year.

Among these, the top three export countries were Israel (approximately 235,500 tons, an increase of 2.7 percent year on year), Romania (approximately 121,000 tons, an increase of 85.4 percent year on year) and the Netherlands (approximately 121,000 tons). 73,100 tons It showed an increase of 213% compared to the year.

In October alone, Turkey exported 70,100 tons of wire rod with a decrease of 55.3% compared to the previous month and a decrease of 41% compared to the same month of the previous year. This export amounted to US$ 48.3 million, down 54% month on month and 50% year on year.
