According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Turkey’s HRC exports in February decreased by 21.4% year-on-year, falling from 258,912 tons to 203,640 tons. Compared to the previous month of January, however, exports increased by 45.9%.
In the January–February period, total HRC exports declined by 11.22%, decreasing from 386,629 tons to 343,233 tons.
In the given month, Italy, the United States, and Morocco ranked as the top three destinations for Turkey’s HRC exports. Exports to Italy amounted to 30,707 tons, followed by the United States with 28,525 tons, Morocco with 19,400 tons, Spain with 17,135 tons, and Romania with 15,109 tons.
