Turkey scrap prices have increased

Scrap prices in Turkey have been on the increase despite the pressure. Local scrap prices in Turkey have increased by an average of $10/ 300tl compared to last week. Accordingly, DKP scrap prices in Turkey were reported in the range of $350-370.

Although producers were under pressure following import scrap purchases at $377 last week, scrap sellers did not compromise on their prices. Turning to the local market, Turkish steel mills raised their price lists to collect scrap.
