Tosyalı to build a SPP worth 952 million TL in Diyarbakır

The Solar Power Plant (SPP) planned to be built by Tosyalı Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş. in Diyarbakır's Çermik district, İncilli neighborhood, will have a capacity of 68 MWm/50 MW.

Costing TRY 952 million, the Tosyalı Çermik SPP will generate 122.6 GWh (122.6 million kWh) of electricity annually. This production is expected to be enough to meet the annual electricity needs of approximately 36 thousand 500 people.

The energy generated at the power plant will be converted into alternating current in central inverters, and then will be upgraded to 34.5 kV voltage level via transformers. It will then be connected to the Siverek Substation, which is approximately 30 km away from the project site via a 154 kV high voltage line, and transferred to the national grid.
