Tosyalı chosen as Spain’s “Best Turkish Company”

As one of Türkiye’s leading global steel producers, Tosyalı received the “Best Turkish Company” award at a ceremony organized by the Turkish–Spanish Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Madrid. The company was recognized for its investments in Spain and its significant contribution to employment in the country’s steel sector, earning top honors in the ninth edition of the event.

Tosyalı chosen as Spain’s “Best Turkish Company”

Tosyalı operates nearly 50 facilities across three continents, supported by an annual liquid steel capacity of 15 million tons and a workforce of 15,000 people. The acquisition of STS at the beginning of 2024 has also positioned the company as a strong producer in the Spanish market.

“We are the largest steel pipe producer in Europe”

Tosyalı Holding Chairman Fuat Tosyalı emphasized during the ceremony that the company continues to grow on a global scale.
“We are the largest steel pipe producer in Europe. After integrating STS into our group, we significantly increased efficiency in a short period of time and boosted production almost twelvefold. We are also actively engaged in new projects, and we plan to invest in a new ERW facility in the coming period,” he said.

Top 20 target within five years

Regarding the company’s global vision, Fuat Tosyalı stated:
“Over the past five years, we have increased our global crude steel production by 110%. Today, we are the third-largest steel producer in Europe. We continue to expand with acquisitions in Europe, new capacity investments in Africa, and both deepening and regional growth strategies in Türkiye. With our sustainability- and efficiency-focused projects, we aim to become one of the world’s top 20 steel producers within the next five years.”
