The projects are expected to target the production of up to 800,000 tonnes of green ammonia per year using exclusively renewable energy sources. During the Pre-FEED phase, the focus will be on optimizing technical concepts, advancing critical engineering work, and strengthening the commercial feasibility of the projects.
Green ammonia is expected to play an important role in the energy transition, serving both as a low-carbon feedstock and as an efficient carrier for renewable energy. The company emphasized that the development of scalable project concepts is crucial for the growth of global green energy markets.
thyssenkrupp Uhde will contribute to the projects through its uhde® ammonia synthesis technology and RHAMFS® methodology. The company stated that by combining advanced process technology with an integrated engineering approach, it is laying the foundation for efficient, reliable, and economically competitive green ammonia production.
The statement also congratulated the project team and thanked Fuella AS for its cooperation and trust. The projects are expected to contribute to the development of future green ammonia hubs in Brazil and support the global energy transition.
