Among them, the imports from Mexico accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 32,000 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 42.1% and a year-on-year hike of 64.3%. Other main import sources included Turkey (around 26,300 tons), Algeria (around 21,400 tons), the Dominican Republic (around 6,500 tons), and Canada (around 4,000 tons).
During the period, the import value totaled roughly US$80 million, down by 36.7% month on month and up by 26.9% year on year.
