According to statistics from the USA Department of Commerce (USDOC), the USA exported approximately 89,700 tons of hot-dip galvanized (HDG) plates and strips in October this year, down 6.8% and 19.5% year-on-year.
Among them, exports to Canada had the largest share, roughly 45,000 tons, up 1.74% month on month and down 29.5 percent year on year. Mexico ranked second with approximately 43,900 tons, while exports to other regions remained below 1,000 tons in this period.
During this period, the export value totaled US$111 million, down 5.7% month on month and 3% year on year.
