According to data released by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), the capacity utilization rate (CUR) in the manufacturing industry continued its three-month declining trend in August.
The non-seasonally adjusted CUR decreased by 0.7 points compared to the previous month, reaching 73.5%, marking the lowest level since August 2020.
In August 2025, 1,832 businesses operating in the manufacturing sector responded to CBRT’s Economic Tendency Survey. These responses were aggregated and evaluated.
The seasonally adjusted capacity utilization rate (CUR-SA) decreased by 0.5 points compared to the previous month, recording a level of 73.6%.
