The 19th SteelFab fair will open its doors on January 8, 2024

The SteelFab trade fair and conference, of which we are a media partner, will take place for the 19th time at the Expo Center Sharjah between 8-11 January 2024.

The 19th SteelFab fair will open its doors on January 8, 2024

The UAE's strong economic performance and the remarkable recovery in the construction sector are set to set the tone for the upcoming trade event for the metal processing, metal fabrication and steel manufacturing sector.

Saif Mohamed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Center Sharjah; "SteelFab has played a key role in promoting the remarkable progress made by the UAE's industrial sector, as well as the adoption of advanced technology and innovation in the sector. The fair has been an impetus for the country's industrial initiatives, leading to increased industrial exports and an increased contribution of the sector to the national economy, " said.

According to figures from the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, the UAE managed to increase the contribution of the industrial sector to the national gross domestic product by 38% compared to 2020, reaching US$ 50 billion. Additionally, numerous foreign consultancies and financial institutions, including the International Monetary Fund, have predicted that the UAE will emerge as the best-performing economy in the GCC by 2024.

"The UAE is accelerating the adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies in the industrial sector under the UAE Industry 4.0 program, which has created great interest among manufacturers and distributors at SteelFab to benefit from the increase in demand for cutting-edge technologies and sustainable solutions. Sultan Shattaf, Sales and Marketing Director, Expo Center Sharjah "The construction sector, which is the main source of demand for the manufacturing sector, will grow thanks to high oil prices and the country's development drive and will occupy the order books for the metal processing industry," he said.

SteelFab's previous fair, held in January 2023, also demonstrated an impressive performance, with 200 exhibitors from 33 countries exhibiting 400 brands and attracting the attention of 6,000 trade visitors from 65 countries.

SteelFab, which will be held for the 19th time in 2024, will host leading global manufacturers and dealers through special segments such as Welding and Cutting, Metal Cutting, Machine Tools, Metal Forming, Steel Machinery, Pipe Construction Equipment and Surface Preparation and Finishing.

In addition to the largest live exhibition of the latest welding and cutting machinery and equipment, the Best-Welder @SteelFab competition, the host buyer program, the online B2B matching platform and the 8th Fasteners World Middle East will also be present at the fair.
