Located northeast of Houston, the plant complements Tenaris' existing operations in the south by adding heat treating and finishing lines, increasing its capacity to serve the domestic market. The facility employs approximately 400 people.
Luca Zanotti, President of Tenaris USA said ""We are analysing many possibilities to expand and strengthen our industrial footprint. We were already partially using Republic Tube to process some of our domestic production and adding this facility to our network improves process flow and efficiency, giving us more capacity to serve our customers in the US."
During the transition, Tenaris will work to integrate the facility and align its operations with the company's worldwide industrial standards for health, safety, environment and process management.
Tenaris will continue to provide high-quality services at this facility.
