Tata Steel partners with Australia's InQuik Group for modular bridge solutions

Tata Steel, one of India's leading steel producers, has formed a strategic partnership with Australia's InQuik Group to develop prefabricated modular bridge solutions, especially for use in remote, hard-to-reach areas and harsh climatic conditions.

Tata Steel partners with Australia's InQuik Group for modular bridge solutions

As part of this collaboration, Tata Steel will bring innovative modular bridge building technology to India. The system developed by InQuik allows bridges to be built faster and at lower costs, thanks to pre-prepared steel parts that are filled with concrete on site. This technology offers great advantages, especially in disaster zones, rural areas and logistically difficult to access locations.

Tata Steel CEO and TV MD T. V. Narendran emphasized that this initiative is an important part of the company's strategy to transition from pure steel production to smart and sustainable construction solutions. "Our aim is not only to produce steel, but also to provide practical, fast and eco-friendly solutions in infrastructure. This partnership is a step in the right direction to contribute to India's development goals." Narendran stated.

Logan Mullaney, CEO of InQuik Group, stated that this cooperation will ensure the widespread use of modular bridge systems in India's rapidly growing infrastructure sector and noted, "Entering the Indian market and working with a strong partner like Tata Steel is a big milestone for us. With this system, we aim to provide people in remote areas with safe and durable transportation networks."

The modular bridge technology saves time with prefabricated steel formworks that are assembled on site, while also providing a climate-resistant infrastructure. The project is considered an important solution to strengthen connectivity in both urban and rural areas of India.

Tata Steel and InQuik Group's collaboration aims to contribute to India's infrastructure transformation focused on sustainability and speed.
