Last month, the London Metal Exchange (LME) nickel price reached US$30,000/ton and the high level of molybdenum prices led to the prediction of an increase in stainless steel prices in Taiwan.
Due to high raw material costs, stainless steel prices in Taiwan are expected to rise from late February to early March.
It is known that people in the market expect an increase in stainless steel demand in the second quarter. It is among the information obtained that stock levels are not high and buyers prefer to stock materials for better prices.
