Taiwan's Quintain Steel increases wire prices on February 22

Quintain Steel Corp Ltd, one of the largest wire rod manufacturers in Taiwan, has increased the prices of wire, including galvanized iron wire, electric high-steel furnace and construction bolt, by NT$1,000/ton.

Other screw industries predicted that other Taiwanese main wire rod producers such as Yieh Hsing Enterprise Co, Ltd and Feng Hsin Steel Co, Ltd would follow Quintain Steel's move.

Quintain Steel's price adjustment was mainly due to the implementation of China's production reduction policy and the continuous increase in raw materials.
