According to statistics, Taiwan's imports of the 300 series cold-rolled stainless steel coil were about 1,200 tons in January this year, decreasing by 9.8% from the previous month, reaching its second lowest level since last year.
However, exports of the 300 series cold-rolled stainless steel coil increased by 22.7% m-o-m to 30,330 tons.
In terms of import and export average prices, the average import price of the 300 series cold-rolled stainless steel coil increased by more than NT$22,000/ton in January, reaching a new high for three consecutive months.
In 2022, Taiwan's 300 series cold rolled stainless steel coil imports reached about 46,900 tons, and exports amounted 450,000 tons.
