Feng Hsin Steel Co. Ltd, a Taiwanese company specializing in the production, processing, and trading of steel products, announced this week's product prices.
The rebar price remained unchanged at NTD 19,100 per ton (about USD 624.79) and the scrap price at NTD 10,300 per ton (about USD 336.83). However, the section steel price dropped by NTD 500 per ton to NTD 26,200 per ton (around USD 857.76).
Japan's H2 scrap prices held steady at USD 357 per ton, while US containerized scrap prices fell to USD 345 per ton. The Australian iron ore price fell from USD 115 to USD 106. Feng Hsin also noted that there were no bids for US scrap shipments last week.
