Feng Hsin Steel Co. Ltd. which produces, processes and trades steel in Taiwan announced this week's product prices.
Rebar and scrap prices dropped by NTD 300 (USD 9.30). Rebar was NTD 19,400 (USD 625.40) per ton and scrap NTD 10,800 (USD 342.80) per ton.
Section steel prices remained stable at NTD 26,700 (USD 827.70) per ton.
Meanwhile, there were no bids for Japan's H2 scrap due to the Golden Week, which runs from April 29 to May 5.
US containerized scrap fell to USD 355 per tonne.
Australian iron ore prices decreased from USD 118.1 per tonne to USD 116.7 per tonne.
