Feng Hsin Steel, one of Taiwan's largest producers, announced its new prices for this week.
As of today, the current prices are at $357/ton for scrap and $660/ton for rebar.
As the upward trend in the international scrap market is still high, the price increase in rebar was close to market expectations.
Feng Hsin Steel said last week that there were no offers for US scrap shipments.
