According to the statement of the Ministry of Economy of Taiwan on January 4th, 2023, the scope of restricted exports to the two countries has been expanded in order to prevent Taiwan from exporting high-tech products for the production of military weapons to Russia and Belarus.
A total of 52 products, including nuclear materials and miscellaneous items, materials, chemicals and machine tools, have just been included in export control. This time, 304 and 316 stainless steel plates were also listed.
