Thanks to the modernization, the plant increased its output of seamless stainless steel pipes by 1.7 times, reaching 15,000 tons per year. The updated facility also allows for a wider range of products, including tool pipes, heat exchanger tubes, and general-purpose pipes for high-tech industries. Additionally, it has boosted production capacity for steam generator tubes used in nuclear power plants.
Over 150 units of advanced equipment from leading global manufacturers were installed, and more than 100 new high-performance jobs were created. Automated production lines have reduced manual and transport operations, resulting in a 1.5-fold increase in labor productivity.
The new facility is expected to cut imports of seamless stainless steel pipes from China in half — down to 25% — and fully meet the demand of Russian companies for high-tech pipe products.
