According to the information compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data, Turkey's scrap exports in October 2023 increased by 151.30% compared to the same month of the previous year and decreased by 20.41% compared to the previous month.
Looking at the total export figure for the January-October period, while 137,184 tons of exports were realized in the January-October period of 2022, this figure increased by 37% to 187,743 tons in the same period of this year.
While the highest exports in the 11-month period were recorded in August, the lowest exports were recorded in February. In the same period of 2022, the highest export was seen in February, while the lowest export was in May.
