Steel Summit 2025, one of the most important organizations of the global steel industry, is preparing to open its doors in Çeşme, İzmir. The event, which is hours away from starting, has created great excitement in the industry.

At the summit, where more than 30 industry leaders will take part as speakers in a total of 8 sessions, the most up-to-date developments of the iron and steel industry will be discussed.

Steel Summit 2025, which will be highly attended, will bring together industry professionals, investors, manufacturers and supply chain representatives under the same roof. The event is expected to pave the way for collaborations and new expansions on both local and global scales.

The summit is an important platform where strategies, sustainability visions and trade policies that will shape the future of the industry will be evaluated.

The opening speeches will be delivered by Cem Öztüre, Founder & Chairman of SteelRadar, and Feyyaz Yazar, Member of the Executive Board of İzmir Demir Çelik (İDÇ). Following this, Dr. Veysel Yayan, Secretary General of the Turkish Steel Producers Association (TÇÜD), will present “Macro Outlook of the Turkish Steel Industry and Development of the Sector”, and Mehmet Çakmur, Deputy Chairman and General Manager of Kocaer Çelik, will present "Global Perspective on the Steel Market: Current Situation and Future Trends".

The first day of the summit will continue with a panel focusing on the scrap market. Issues such as scrap supply security, EU export policies and recycling strategies will be discussed by experts in their fields. The scrap panel will be followed by a green steel panel.

The second day of Steel Summit 2025 will continue with the Asian markets panel, the Middle East and Africa markets panel, the flat steel panel and the economy session.

In addition to sectoral trends, investment opportunities, global competition conditions and sustainable production practices will also be discussed during the event.

Steel Summit 2025 will keep the pulse of the steel world for two days.
