An Iranian steelmaker has signed an export agreement for 40,000 tons of steel slabs at around $700-710/t FOB. Shipment is scheduled for the end of April.
Iran's slab export prices have increased sharply by around $140-150/ton compared to the last auction held at the end of January 22. Foreign sources say that the increase in global HRC prices has led to an increase in slab export prices.
