Steel shipments in the US decreased by 3.8% in November compared to the previous month

In November 2022, US steel mills shipped a net 6 million 938.52 thousand tons, which is 12.1% compared to 7 million 893.99 thousand net tons shipped in November 2021 and 7 million
shipped in October 2022 the previous month. A 3.8% decrease was also reported compared to 210.3 thousand net tons.

Shipments for the full year 2022 were 82 million 613.74 thousand net tons, down by 4.9% from 86 million 848.04 net tons in the same period of 2021.
