According to the data released, steel production of France increased by 33.7% month-on-month to 900,000 tons in January 2023, while it decreased by 16.7% year-on-year.
In 2022, French steel production decreased by 26% to 12.12 million tons, compared to 2021.
Looking at the data, it is noteworthy that European steel production decreased by 10.5% to 136.7 million tons in 2022 compared to 2021.
