Stainless steel production increased in Russia

In January-May of this year, the volume of stainless steel production in Russia increased by 27.4% to 49.59 thousand tons.

In particular, long product output increased by 53.3%, round billet production by 16.5%, hot rolled flat products by 19.8% and cold rolled flat products by 8.4%.

Leading manufacturers of stainless steel: Krasny Oktyabr (36.6% share), Izhstal (19.6%), Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant (18.8%), Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works (18.1%).
