In the European market, cold rolled stainless steel prices increased by EUR 50/ton at the beginning of August last week due to limited supply. While consumer demand is currently weak, the price continues to rise.
At present, the delivery time of domestic steelmakers is very long, and the earliest goods will arrive in late December or January next year.
Supply is lower in Asia, but imports from Asia are still difficult. No foreign offers were received from Asia due to protective measures and anti-dumping duties.
It is expected that material shortages will continue and prices will remain high during the summer season.
