Following the launch of "SSAB AM Engineering" as the first conventional steel powder in 2023, SSAB expanded the product with SSAB Zero® this year and launched the world's first zero-emission steel powder on 21 March. According to SSAB, 3D printing with zero-emission steel will enable sustainable designs. With this innovation, which is considered a breakthrough development, the company has proven that it is possible to produce steel without carbon emissions.
The SSAB Zero® product, made from recycled scrap and fossil-free energy sources, can be used in industries such as consumer goods, engineering, automotive and others.
