Spanish steel producer Megasa invests in Zaragoza plant

According to the statement by the Spanish steel producer Megasa; In 2023 and 2024, the company will have a new pre-heating furnace with an investment of €100 million in the Megasider Zaragoza plant. It is also among the information obtained that the company will increase energy efficiency by replacing its existing rolling mill with equipment with environmentally friendly heating technology. The renovation of the new facility, which is planned to be designed to produce a wide variety of merchant bar, will be carried out by the German SMS Group.
