Russia increased coal supplies to Turkey by 55%

In August, coal supplies from Russia accounted for almost 70% of Turkish imports. 

The main suppliers are Russian SUEK, Kuzbassrazrezugol, SDS-ugol and Taltek. At the same time, companies are actively reducing prices for coal exports to Turkey. 

Companies from this list are also increasing shipments to Egypt. However, problems with payments against the backdrop of economic problems in Egypt do not allow a full increase in sales. The total volume of Russian coal exports to Egypt in January-August amounted to 464 thousand tons of coal (+60%). Shipments to Morocco decreased by 58% during the reporting period to 945,000 tons of coal, due to difficulties in paying for cargo and problems with customs clearance of goods.
