Toyota Motor Corporation, the Japanese automaker, shared that global car production in May 2023 increased by approximately 34 percent to 847,000. It was stated that this record increase was realized as a result of the increase in production capacity in the face of intense demand. Looking at the data for May 2023, Toyota's annual domestic production increased by 70 percent to 248,000, while international production increased by 20 percent to 598,000.
In addition, the company's global car sales were recorded as 838,000, up 10 percent year-on-year.
