Under the pressure of weak demand inside and outside the country, the price of Turkish rebar steel in the dual market is tight. As a result of this situation, steel producers have lowered their price offers and are trying to attract limited demand.
In the domestic market, the ex-works price of rebar is between 585 and 600 dollars per ton, which is at least 10 dollars lower than last week.
The price of Turkish export rebar is around 585-590 dollars per ton FOB and is likely to sell for 580 dollars.
Turkish export wire rod price has also dropped from $600-$620 last week to $595-$610 per ton FOB.
