Producer price indices for March published by TÜİK

The foreign producer price index increased by 1.65% in March compared to the previous month. Compared to the same period of the previous year, an increase of 40.35% was recorded.

When the Industry and Manufacturing sectors are analyzed on an annual basis, an increase of 33.63 percent in mining and quarrying and 40.48 percent in Manufacturing was observed.

For the main industrial groups; There was an increase of 39.26 percent in intermediate goods, 42.80 percent in durable consumer goods, 39.44 percent in non-durable consumer goods, 23.04 percent in energy and 44.24 percent in capital goods.

Among the producer price indices sectors, metal ores with 15.90 percent, coke and refined petroleum products with 23.04 percent, basic metals with 30.03 percent, while the sub-sectors with the least increase in the indices, excluding fabricated metal products, machinery and equipment, with 55.18 percent, the highest in the indices. There were sub-sectors where it increased the most.
