POSCO International Corporation has completed the construction of its electric vehicle drive motor main factory in Mexico, thus entering the North American electric vehicle parts market.
It took approximately 13 months to complete the construction and the opening ceremony took place on October 17.
In addition to this project, POSCO plans to establish a second drive motor factory in Mexico in 2024. With the factory to be established, the annual capacity of drive motor cores in Mexico will be increased to 2.5 million by 2030.
