Pig iron exports amounted to 207,800 tons in February 2023, a decrease of 12% compared to December 2022 and a decrease of 17% compared to February 2022.
Brazil's pig iron imports amounted to about 1,200 tons, up 7% m-o-m and 111.7% y-o-y.
Pig iron exports were mainly made to the USA, the Netherlands and Mexico, while imports were made to Germany.
