Japanese firm Nippon Steel announced on March 23 that it will increase the retail price of H-beam by 3,000 yen/ton ($23.00) from February.
H-profile, price increase for the first time since April 2022. Rising raw material prices and the depreciation of the yen are increasing the cost pressure.
It was decided to increase the base price of both the special H-beam (JIS H-beam) and the standard H-beam by 5,000 yen ($23.01) per ton.
