Nippon Steel Corporation records significant production increase in 2025

According to the 2025 list of the world's largest steel producers published by the World Steel Association, the production performance and global ranking of Japan-based Nippon Steel Corporation have been clarified.The official list revealed the annual crude steel production volumes of major steel producers worldwide, along with their positions in the global ranking.

Nippon Steel Corporation records significant production increase in 2025

Based on the published data, Nippon Steel Corporation achieved a remarkable improvement in the global rankings through its crude steel production performance in 2025.

The company, which ranked fourth globally in the previous year, advanced to third place in 2025.

According to the data, Nippon Steel Corporation's crude steel production increased by 32.4%, reaching 57.78 million tons in 2025, compared to 43.64 million tons in 2024. As a result, the company moved up in the global ranking of steel producers and strengthened its position among the world's leading steelmakers.
