U.S. Department of the Treasury announced on 09.02.2023 that sanctions will be imposed on the sale and shipment of oil and petrochemical products produced in Iran to the Far East. The companies that the USA will impose sanctions on are respectively; Amir Kabir, Simorg, Marun, Laleh, Tina Tadbir Marun, Ofogh Sepehr Marun, Sanaye Takmili Marun.
The USA, which decided to impose an embargo on Terilians starting from 2020, also imposed sanctions on Fuel Asia PTA, Sens Shipping and Trading and Oceanias Energy, which facilitated Iranian petrochemical trade in Malaysia and Singapore.
